Hurricane Matthew basically wrecked a lot of the southeast US. I was in the path, but fortunately my family and I were able to evacuate and avoid injuries or major damage, excluding the flooding currently going on. After living in South Florida for 15 years, you tend to learn a thing or two about how bad a hurricane can be and my heart goes out to those who lost family during this awful storm. Recovery is still going on where I am and eventually we will all get back to a state of homeostasis.

Work, out of town trips and the Steam Summer Sale have all worked industriously to prevent me from having a lot of spare time. Since my digital works are becoming hard-pressed to get completed, I will start posting some sketches of work in progress to show that I didn't just fall into a void. In the meantime, here is a picture of onigiri that I made. Oh, and happy 4th everyone!
It was my intention to update a lot sooner than this, unfortunately a family emergency came up and I have been quite preoccupied with that. Fortunately, things are a bit better now. I will continue with works in progress and getting some of that posted after completion. It's a huge stress reliever to work on art for me — well that and puzzle games. Meta-tagging is still going on, so a lot stuff from the site should start to appear after some basic searches. And that's all for now.
I will be updating as frequently as I can with content. That schedule will be almost daily during the summer but as the school year begins again, I will be slowing updates to a few times a week if possible. I will try to make sure there are cool things to make visitors want to actually come back and read this stuff. Illustrations should hopefully start getting uploaded next week-ish. I also still have a lot of tagging to do so that my images and posts start showing up in searches. That will take some time to complete. But I will start slow, as to not completely overwhelm myself. There will eventually be a store where all of you lovely people can purchase some things I have made. I will also put up a comic I have been working on, in due time. Lots to do...looooots to do.
